My father introduced me to hearts and gizzards as a kid and butched the deer he hunted in our garage. There was never any doubt about where meat comes from at our house. I try to do the same with own children. I have one who will try and usually like nearly anyhting well prepared. The other takes years to warm up to anything even slightly interesting. I suspect this is a genetic disorder.
