I use to go deer hunting with my dad on a Prather Ranch that is west of this place. I wonder if the orginal owners were the same. McDoel is not far from my Dad's home town of Merril Oregon and the town of Tulelake (as in horse radish) where he met my Mom, and near my home town of Yreka.
